Taskport
Task & Management Mobile Application
Overview
Business Challenge
TaskPort faces the challenge of standing out in a crowded task management market while delivering immediate value to users, requiring careful product-market fit and feature prioritization.
From a design perspective, the app must balance simplicity with functionality, ensuring intuitive task creation, organization, and reminders without overwhelming users. At the same time, it needs to drive engagement and habit formation through thoughtful UX, plan for scalable collaboration and integrations, and maintain trust with secure, reliable performance, all while laying the foundation for sustainable growth and monetization.
The Approach
Research
User research and competitive analysis informed ideation workshops with stakeholders.
Insights were translated into prioritized MVP features, validated through lo-fi prototyping and usability testing, and delivered as a scalable design system and polished UI.
Ideation
Collaborative workshops and design exercises were used to explore, evaluate, and refine solution concepts, aligning user needs with business and technical constraints.
Delivery
Final designs were translated into a scalable design system and high-fidelity UI, with clear documentation and close collaboration with engineering to ensure smooth implementation.
The Solution
After testing the MVP features on the app, we align with users and continue iterating based on their feedback and metric outcomes.
